Find Vendor by account

I would like to find a vendor by searching accounts invoices are paid from.  For example... I know I made a Donation to a committee but can not remember name check was written to.  If I can run a report to of all bills posted to the Donation account then I can find the vendor name.

I can help you find the vendor associated with your bills or invoices, @tmburns.

 

You can generate a Transaction Detail by Account report to view the vendor's name that's written on your check.

 

You can follow these steps on how:
 

  1. Click Reports from the left menu.
  2. Search Transaction Detail by Account.
  3. Click to open the report.
  4. Select the Customize button and go to the Filter section
  5. Mark all the Vendor and Distribution Account.
  6. Then, click on Run Report.
