Is this a glitch? I have tried to resolve it but to no avail. It's a recurring monthly expense so I know there's no problem with the account.

Let's troubleshoot your web browser to check what's causing this problem, @cin505.

Issues with your web browser can affect the performance of software applications. Let's make sure that your browser runs smoothly by following these easy steps:

  1. Use a private or incognito window.
  2. Reopen your browser.
  3. Clear cache and cookies.

Moreover, try opening your QBO account using these browsers:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: press Command + Shift +N

After performing steps mentioned above and the issue still persists, then I recommend contacting our Customer Care Support Team to investigate the error you are receiving when adding an expense.

Additionally, if you want to get a report that details all the monetary transactions made towards a specific vendor, check out this article: Run a report with vendor totals.

I tried both of your recommended steps. In Safari. Then in Chrome. Neither work. There is a glitch with Quickbooks and the developers need to look into this. I had a problem at the first of the year that was very similar and NOT user error but an issue developers had to resolve on their end.

Will have to contact customer care after the weekend. A ticket will need to be opened.

Thank you for your suggestions.
