Go back to prior invoice template

Thanks for becoming a part of the QuickBooks Community.

Currently, the Print Later and Send Later options are unavailable if you're using the new invoice layout. However, the ability to switch back to the old experience is exclusive to QuickBooks Online (QBO) Plus and Advanced users. If you're subscribed to either of these, please refer to these steps:

1. Go to + New.
2. Select Invoices.
3. At the upper-right corner of the form, click Old Layout.

Please note that upon returning to the old layout, you're unable to revert to the new invoice experience.

If you don't have the option to switch back to the old layout, you can follow this procedure on how to change your invoice template:

1. On the Invoice page, select Manage.
2. Click the Design dropdown.
3. Select Other Templates.

Furthermore, record the payment when you receive it from the customer. Doing so marks the invoice as paid, so it won't reflect as open in your reports.
