Question

Gusto for Payroll/Contractor. Does anyone know how to get the "sync" to put the employee/vendor name in the actual journal entry in the name area NOT description.

QuickBooks Online

I understand how important it is to sync your Gusto data into QuickBooks Online, @rockstarbookschi.

Contact the Gusto developer team for guidance in syncing information from Gusto into QuickBooks Online (QBO. You can find the contact details in your QBO account.

Here's how:

From the left menu, go to Apps.
Enter Gusto from the search box.
From the app page, you can see the contact details.

Gusto told me to contact Quickbooks.

Did anybody actually figure out how to fix this issue? The Contractor name from Gusto should be mapped to the Name field in Quickbooks...ridiculous that this can't be acheived. Now I have to re-visit every 2023 journal entry for contractor payments from Gusto to assign the Contractor name?
