Thank you for bringing your concern here in the Community, Sarah. Let me provide information to help you manage projects in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Creating a single project for multiple customers is currently unavailable in QBO. Yet, you can create separate projects for each customer and track them individually. The project feature is enabled by default, allowing you to create a project for individual customers.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Projects
  2. Select New project.
  3. In the Project name field, enter the project name.
  4. Select a customer from the Customer dropdown.
  5. Enter a Start date and End date for the project.
  6. Select a project status from the Project Status dropdown.
  7. Click Save.

You can now add both new and existing transactions to the project. For further details on adding existing transactions, please check this article: Set up and manage projects in QuickBooks Online.

I'll leave this article for you to follow the detailed steps in organizing your customer and vendor transactions by class: Create and manage classes in QuickBooks Online.

Please let me know if you have any QuickBooks-related concerns. I'll be right back to you. Take good care.
