Question

Has anyone had the Nevada Economic Nexus data completely blank? All the other states have information except them.

Thanks for posting here in the Community, hstarrett. I'm here to provide some troubleshooting steps to ensure you'll be able to view your economic nexus data within the program.

The economic nexus refers to your sales tax obligations from another state. Since only Nevada doesn't have any data, I suggest reaching out to Nevada state personnel to verify if there are any ongoing issues. You'll want to make sure you have set up and collected sales tax for Nevada to have the necessary sales tax data.

Moreover, if you've set up everything and the data is still blank, I suggest logging into your account using a private browser/ incognito mode. Private browsing prevents cookies from being stored on your computer, making it a great place to identify browser issues. Use these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Once everything's good with using a private window, clear the cache to start with a clean slate. Otherwise, using other supported browsers can be a good alternative too.

For more details about this, please refer to this article: Understand Economic Nexus for sales tax in QuickBooks Online.

In case you'll need to check how much sales tax you owe, we can run the sales tax liability report to help make sure that everything is accurate before you file your return to your tax agency.
