Has the process for receiving inventory from a purchase order changed for QB On-line? Purchase order will not allow me to enter quantity received?

Hi there, @ar-twilma

Thanks for taking the time to share your concerns here in the QuickBooks Community. I hope you're enjoying the day so far.

The process of receiving inventory from a purchase order in QuickBooks Online has not changed. I wanted to ask if you're getting any error messages? If so, could you share a screenshot of the error message?

If you're not getting any errors, let's try some basic troubleshooting steps. Such as clearing the cache in your browser. Web browsers collect cache to save time when loading repetitive data and images. Over time these files can become outdated and corrupted, causing issues like the one with your purchase order workflow not working correctly. I've included the links for all supported browsers that contain the steps to clear the cache below.

After clearing the cache, please make sure to restart your browser. Then, let's try receiving the inventory from a purchase order again.

That should do it. If you may need it for future references, I've included a couple of help articles that cover the workflow of receiving inventory in QuickBooks Online below.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I'm always around to lend a hand. Take care!

Thanks for all the help. The answer was right in front of me and I just didn't see it. When I selected "convert to bill"  for some reason I was thinking if I edited the screen I would be editing the purchase order instead of the bill. Sorry, just one of those days or a brain cramp. My client usually receives inventory and I seldom do. I have used QB desktop for many years but still adjusting to QB Online.

Again: thanks everyone!
