Question

Have 1099's been mailed? I filed mine on January 1st and my contractors are stating they have not received theirs yet.

I understand the importance of receiving filed copies promptly to ensure timely compliance, @five1athletics.


After successfully doing the 1099 e-filing process, QuickBooks sends an email or mail a printed copy to your contractors. If your contractors still haven't received their 1099s after a week you've seen the Received by IRS, I encourage contacting our Customer Care Support team. This way, they can help dispute a charge in a secure environment for the service you paid for and wasn't provided. Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to the Help (?) icon and choose the Search tab.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Describe your concern and click Continue.
  4. Choose between Chat with us and Have us call you.
