Thanks for choosing QuickBooks Online in tracking your business transactions, jnjhomesoffice-g. I recognize how important it is to link your estimate to a project. I'm here to help you with that.

We can add your existing estimate to a project by changing the customer's name to the project name. I'll show you how:

  1. Go to the Sales menu and then select Customers.
  2. Find the customer, then click the name.
  3. Locate and open the estimate.
  4. On the Customer field, select the project name.
  5. Once done, click on Save and close.

You can find the estimate by going to the Transactions tab on the Project page.

Additionally, I've included these articles that'll help you learn more about managing projects in QuickBooks Online. This way, you'll be able to ensure your record is accurate:

That should successfully add the estimate to your project, jnjhomesoffice-g. If you need further assistance, please let me know. I'll be more than happy to help.
