Hello! I'm sending invoice to customer but they can't see pay option. Can you please help to resolve this issue.Thank you

Let's get to the bottom of this so your customers can pay you in QuickBooks.

 

When you sign up for QuickBooks Payments, you can send invoices so your customers can pay online. When the customer gets the email, all they have to do is click Review and pay or Pay invoice. This opens the invoice and allows them to pay it directly from there.

 

If your customers don't see the option to pay you in their email, you might still need to turn on online invoice payments in QuickBooks Online. I'll guide you through the process of doing so.

 

First, connect your Payments account to QuickBooks. Then, set up your QuickBooks account so customers can make online payments. You'll need to set up your chart of accounts and account settings for invoice payments.

 

Here's how to set up your chart of accounts:

 

  1. Go to the gear icon at the top-right corner of the screen.
  2. Navigate to Account and settings.
  3. Head to the Payments tab.
  4. Find Chart of Accounts, then select Edit.
  5. On the Standard deposits dropdown, choose a deposit account where you want to record the payments.
  6. On the Processing fees dropdown, pick an expense account to track processing fees.

 

Then, head to the Sales tab on the Accounts and settings page.

 

  1. Find Invoice payments, then click Edit.
  2. Select the payment method/s your customers will use. You can also put payment instructions to show on your invoices.
  3. Click Save, then Done.

 

Once done, resend the invoice to your customer. This time, the option to pay you should now be visible on their end.
