Question

Hey I have a quick question. If I had a customer pay with AMEX through QB but, I can't see the payment or figure out how to get this resolved. ANYONE CAN ADVISE? TIA JM

Let me provide you with some information about how QuickBooks handles payments.

 

If you use QuickBooks Payments, we'll deposit your funds within five business days after your first payment. It may take a little longer for the initial deposit while we set up your account. Once everything is set up, we'll process customer payments faster.

 

You can check your deposit speed from your QBO, here's how:

 

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Account and settings.
  2. Select the Payments tab.
  3. Review the Deposit Speed section.

 

We'll deposit next-day deposits in your bank account the next business day if you process customer payments before 3 PM PT. Otherwise, we'll deposit payments in two business days if you process payments after 3 PM PT. If you haven't received the funds in the allocated time, I'd recommend getting in touch with our QuickBooks Payments Support team so they can help check the status and trace your payments.
