Hello there, @IMHS. Let me give insights about viewing your total labor hours and cost in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To begin with, in QuickBooks Online, you can keep track of your total labor hours and costs by running a project profitability report. This report will display the time duration of the project and the total costs incurred. To run this report, you can follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. In Reports, choose Project Profitability Summary.
  2. For the Report period, choose Custom and select the date you want to see the total labor hours and cost.
  3. After that, click Run Report
  4. Click the amount under Profit and select the hourly time cost amount in Cost.
  5. From there, you'll see the time duration and cost.
  6. You may also Save customization to save it for a later post.

However, the labor category under which the cost will fall would depend on how you record your labor hours and costs in QBO. If you choose the 'Labor' category while recording the hours, then it will fall under that category.

On the other hand, you might want to see this article as a help when customizing a report you may need in your business inside QBO: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online
