I need to change a long-term investment that I have declared in current assets to a non-current asset, but I don't see the account in quickbook.

Hello there, @istration4. Let me share some information about the account types in QuickBooks Online.

In QuickBooks, you can change the account types to various options. However, the non-current asset is unavailable in the program. With this, you might consider choosing another account closest to the desired account type. The program also describes the detailed account type you chose to help you ensure it meets your needs. You can also consult your accountant to help you select the best account for your long-term investments.

Additionally, you might need these references to manage your Chart of Accounts:

You can set up an Long-term or Non-current Asset account as a sub-account of Other Assets and use the Transfer function (New > Transfer) to move the balance.
