To change how your company appears on a customer's bank statement or credit card details, you typically need to work with your QuickBooks Payment account, @williamsoutd. Let me show you how to do it.

Update your addresses, bank account, and other business information for QuickBooks Payments to ensure it remains up-to-date.

Here's how:

What you can update:

  • Legal Business Name
  • Doing Business As (DBA) - the name your customers see on their receipts. It must match the name on your deposit bank account.
  • Industry type
  • Ownership type
  • Tax ID
  • Website address

To change your business info:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Payments account.
  2. Pick the Account, then Account Profile.
  3. Go to Account Holder/Business Information, then select Edit.
  4. Change your business info as you need to, then select Submit.

After following the steps above, please note that it may take some time to reflect in your customer statements. If you also need to change your contact information, visit this page for the detailed steps: Update business and account info for QuickBooks Payments.

I'm always here to assist if you need further assistance managing your transactions in QBO. I’ll be more than happy to work with you again. Keep safe!
