How can I change the body of the email sent with statements?

You've come to the right place, CR5.

 

The body of the email you send with statements can be quickly changed with the following steps:

  1. Click Sales on the left navigation menu.
  2. Go to the Customers tab.
  3. Click the Action drop-down menu, then select Create statement.
  4. Make sure the correct customer is selected.
  5. Click Save and send.
  6. Make the necessary changes in the Body field.
  7. Click Send.

That should do it! With these steps, you'll be able to modify your email templates for customer statements like a pro in no time.

thank you!  do you know if there is a way to save those changes to the email statement so it becomes the default for all emailed statements?

While we're waiting for an update from the product engineers to make the changes mentioned, you can follow the original steps provided above. This work around will help you in the meantime while waiting for a potential update. I would also recommend reaching out here in our Customer Feedback option. Here you can request changes made. Click the Gear icon, then choose Account & Settings. Go to Sales and then click Messages. Under the Sales form field, choose Statements. Then, enter your default email message for statements. Click Save, then Done.
