How can I create a new term for a bill in QuickBooks Online that sets the due date to the 10th of the second month following the bill date?

For example, I want all bills issued in June to be paid on August 10th.

Creating a due date for the 10th day of the second month isn't possible. Nonetheless, you can set up a due date for the 10th day of the next month or choose a specific fixed date.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select All lists under the Lists column.
  2. Select Terms and click New.
  3. Enter name and choose Due by a certain day of the month.
  4. In the day of the month box, enter the specific date.
  5. In the days of the due date box, enter the specific date.
  6. Hit Save to reflect this in the system.

 

Once done, from the New+, select the Bill, then click the Term dropdown to choose the created new term. Refer to the screenshot below.
