How can I customize the dates for reports

How can I customize the dates for profit and loss report to be fiscal year to date and the balance sheet standard to be last month? So, I don't have to go to the drop down menu every single time.

Open a Report that is close to what you want and modify it to exactly what you want.  (e.g. P&L Year To Date).

 

Then up on the top right click on Memorize, then New.  Name it what you want and then below the name select where you want to keep it.  (e.g. Company, Account, etc.)

 

Then when you want to use it, go to the Reports (icon or drop-down menu) and Memorized Reports.
