How can I edit the tip % amounts offered on my invoices?

The default tip amounts offered to customers on invoices = 5%, 10%, 15%, Other, None. My usual tips are 10%, 15% and 20 %, but I can't see where I can change this as a default for all invoices.

I understand how important it is for you to modify a default percentage tips for your invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO). At this time, you have have to set a designated tip for each transaction. If the amount is greater or less than 5%, 10%, 15%, you can choose Other, then input the custom dollar amount.

How to you change the default 5%, 10%, 15% to 15%, 20% 25%. There should be a way to change the default % of the offered tip.

Currently, you'll have to manually add a tip for each transaction when paying an invoice. You can send a request for the functionality to be able to set a default tip percentage. To do so, follow the steps below: 

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit feedback.
