Thank you for reaching out to the Community, aimlocatingva. To move your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) invoices to QuickBooks Online (QBO) I'm here to guide you through this process.

You may transfer your transactions from QBSE to QBO by creating a spreadsheet or getting a sample file of the product. To do this, select the Gear icon and click Import data, then choose Invoices and Download sample csv.

Make sure your spreadsheet is in .csv format and has the following columns:

  • Invoice number
  • Customer
  • Invoice date
  • Due date
  • Item amount

Note: If the invoice has multiple line items, make sure each line has an invoice number, customer, and invoice date. To start the import, let's upload your spreadsheet first:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and click Import data.
  2. Press Invoices.
  3. Click Browse and find the spreadsheet of your invoices.
  4. Select Next.

Once you've imported the files, you can now Map them and start the import.

If you need more advanced features to keep up with your bookkeeping, you may click this link to learn how to switch from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you need further assistance with importing transactions from QBSE. I'm always around to provide answers and clarification. Have a great day ahead.
