How can I get Self Employed to list which cardholder made a purchase? It used to call that out but just lists the card account now. How can I get that function back?

Let me shed some light on the card details shown when making a purchase, brad.

 

QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) relies on bank-provided information, including cardholder names, when importing transactions. However, a workaround for this, if it's not showing, is to manually add the cardholder's name on the note section of the transaction. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Transactions and locate the card purchase.
  2. Click the arrow on the farthest right side of the transaction to expand the view.
  3. In the Notes section, manually add the cardholder's name that made the purchase. Then, hit Save.
