How can I recover a deleted invoice?

Currently, restoring a deleted invoice is unavailable. We can use the Audit log feature as a way to retrieve the information of the deleted invoice and recreate it. The report tracks added, deleted, and modified transactions and user entries, providing a history of changes. It can be customized using the Filter tool to narrow down the data.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Click Audit Log.
3. Choose the appropriate User, Date, and Events filter from the drop-down arrow
4. Hit Apply.
5. Locate the deleted transaction.
   • Use the browser search.
   • Press Ctrl + F on your keyboard.
   • Enter a keyword about the deleted invoice.
6. Under the History column, click View.
7. All transaction information is under the EVENT column.

Once entered, you can record invoice payments or match the invoice with the deposit made by the customer.
