The link I have sent my contractors has expired. There is no option to resend or to send an email.

You've come to the right place, @uservonscoopers.

You can resend the invitation by clicking the Send a reminder link from the contractor's page. I can guide you on how to do it.

  1. Go to the Workers tab in the left navigation bar.
  2. Select Contractors.
  3. Click the contractor’s name.
  4. Choose to send a reminder

Once your contractors received the invitation, I'm adding this article which contains video tutorials to help a user along the process: Invite a contractor to add their own 1099 tax info.

I'm here to ensure everything is flawless, @userbctcsales

Were you able to re-invite your contractors using the steps I've shared? If you need more clarification on this process, just let me know. I'll be sure to get back to you.

I was just trying to do this same thing this evening and followed the directions you provided...however there is no option to resend.  It says:

We've requested personal details from

[email address removed]

If you don't hear back soon, contact them directly.

I contacted this contractor personally and they replied stating that the email says that the link has expired and to contact your employer.

I can help you sort this out, @hodanadde.

Let's first make sure to update your contractors email address. Then, resend the invitation by clicking the Send a reminder link from the contractor's page. I can guide you on how to do it.

  1. Click the Payroll or Worker menu.
  2. Choose the Contractors tab.
  3. Double-click on the contractor's name.
  4. From the Details tab, click the Pencil Icon.
  5. Change the email address.

  6. Click Save when you're finished.

Now, you can resend the invitation. Here's how:

I am having the exact same problem. I am able to change the email address but when I get to step 4 to resend, that option does not show up on my contractor profile. PLEASE HELP!

I am having the exact same problem.  I have 50+ contractors that cannot get their info set-up completed.   You have known about this issue for over 2 years now and still haven't fixed it. This is NOT a user problem; it is a software problem that you know exists and are refusing to own and correct. I have read multiple threads on this exact issue with the exact same responses from the techs answering the questions that DOES NOT WORK and then being told to call in only to be sent the same articles read in the threads (and tried) that DO NOT WORK.

If you are wanting to send companies that use multiple contractors elsewhere, this is a GREAT plan.  If you want to keep us, then you need to own up to the issue and fix it.  This is an unacceptable issue that you have known about for two years.  Enough deflecting and finger pointing.  Either fix the problem or lose me as a customer. TWO YEARS to fix a simple issue of adding "resend invite" is terrible customer service.
