How can I save an estimate? I get this message. "This estimate number was already used. Try a different one to continue".

Before we proceed with a browser troubleshooting step, you can review if there is an estimate transaction that already uses the number as stated in the error message.

You can run an Estimate by customer report.

Here's how:

1. From the left menu, go to Reports.
2. Enter in the search field Estimates by Customer.
3. Click Filter.
4. Under the Filter dropdown, choose Estimate number.
5. From the Operation dropdown, select equals.
6. Enter the estimate number you want to use in the box for the Value.
7. Click the X button.

If no estimate transaction that uses the same number and you're still getting the same error when creating an estimate, I recommend performing browser troubleshooting steps.

The stored files in your browser are typically the source of unexpected behavior or failures in QBO. Your cache saves the files from many websites you visit, so you can quickly load the pages the following time. The browsing speed of websites like QBO may be impacted if the cache is retaining too much data.

It's a good idea to check for issues brought on by a full cache when browsing anonymously because doing so prevents the cache from recording your browsing data. You may also try to use other browsers.

• Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
• Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox: Press Ctrl + Shift + P
