You can upload a cost sheet as an attachment to your estimates in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Rom, and I'll be glad to guide you through the process.

QBO allows you to add attachments to transactions for better recordkeeping. Before doing so, refer to the following supported file types to ensure the security of your QBO account:

  • PDF
  • JPEG
  • PNG
  • DOC
  • XLSX
  • CSV
  • TIFF
  • GIF
  • XML

Once done, here's how to upload attachments:

  1. Go to + New and select Estimate.
  2. Fill in the required fields.
  3. Click the Attachments icon and upload the cost sheet file.
  4. Select Save and Close.

For more details, please see this article: Add or delete attachments in QuickBooks Online.

When a customer accepts your estimate, you'll want to convert it directly to an invoice for accurate bookkeeping.
