It's good to have you posting in the Community, @marshallsexcavat

I have all the steps to help you change your sales form title from estimate to bid in QuickBooks Online (QBO). All we have to do is customize the estimate template from the settings. Here's how:

  1. From the Cog Wheel, select Custom form styles.
  2. Choose an estimate template then hit Edit under the Action column.
  3. From the Content tab, click the Header.
  4. Change the form name to "bid"

  5. After that, click Done.

For more information about the process, check out this article: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

When opening your estimate, use the modified template by clicking the Customize button. Refer to the sample screenshot below for your reference.

Moreover, you may read this article to learn more about creating and sending estimates: Create and send estimates in QuickBooks Online. It also includes steps for converting an estimate to an invoice that you may need in the future.
