Thanks for checking in with us, calsouthpools.

I know how important it is to have control over your cost. However, the option to process invoices without charging processing fees is unavailable in QuickBooks.

As a way around this, we can create a service item for the processing fee and include the item in your invoices.

While it's unavailable, I'd suggest submitting feedback within your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. This way, it goes to our product developers to help improve your experience while utilizing the program. Here's how.

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the upper right and select Feedback under Profile.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions. You can also attach a screenshot or file to combine them all.
  3. Click Next.
  4. You'll be provided a list of suggested help articles related to your comments. You can read through them or choose Skip and send message.
  5. Select the appropriate category from the drop-down menu.
  6. Tap Send message.

In the meantime, you might want to bookmark the following links below. We can learn more about the types of processing fee rates as well as steps to void a transaction:

I'll be around here in the Community, so please feel free to reach out to me if you have any other questions about processing credit cards, calsouthpools. Have a great rest of your day.

So Rose-A, you're basically saying QB gets to profit off of the businesses utilizing this payment feature in their QB (all of whom are no doubt small businesses), but we (the small businesses) don't get a feature to at least allow us to break even on these charges??  We already incur more than fair expenses to use QB.

@calsouthpools

QB Payments does not yet offer the feature. If you run a B2B company, use a 3rd party payment processor for free with that feature.
