How do I add time to an existing invoice?

I need to add one time entry to an existing invoice.  The time entry is marked 'billable" and shows up on the employee's time sheet.  When I go to the invoice and client's transactions, that time is nowhere to be found.  I entered that time the same way I entered the previous 7 entries and I was able to create the invoice with those 7 entries.  Why can't I add the time entry to the existing invoice?

First, let's make sure that the details of the time entry are correctly associated with the appropriate customer or project to ensure that the transactions match. Here's how we can check it:

 

  1. Click the +New icon on the upper left corner of the screen.
  2. Under the Team column, select Time entry.
  3. Select the appropriate employee.
  4. Click on the work details under the specific hours.
  5. Make sure that the Customer/Project is correct.
  6. Click Done to finalize it.

After this, if everything is in place, let's open the existing invoice and then click Suggested transactions. You can refer to this screenshot I added:

 

 

If you still can't locate the billable hours or transaction, let's perform basic browser troubleshooting. Your browser can store unnecessary cache that hinders you from performing your tasks properly. Let's open your account in a private browser to isolate this issue.
