How do I block the status box on the right hand side of the screen from popping up when I pull up an invoice?

The option to block the status box from popping up when pulling up an invoice is unavailable, Denise. However, I have a way for you to open or view the invoice you want directly.

In the Invoices tab of the Sales menu, you can select Edit or utilize the dropdown arrow to choose the View/Edit option under the Action column to promptly open the desired invoice. Please see the screenshot below for your reference.
