Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, bancc1020.

I'll ensure you can change my Intuit business tax account from Sole Proprietor to LLC S-Corp by following the steps below.

To start with, I recommend going to the Company section and you'll be able to modify the type of tax form your company uses.

Here's how:

  1. Choose Account and settings by going to the Gear icon.
  2. Go to the Company tab.
  3. Click the pencil icon under the Company type section.
  4. From the Tax form drop-down, choose from Sole Proprietor to LLC S-Corp or Limited liability.
  5. Click Save and Done.

In case you need steps and guidelines on how you can initially set up your company files smoothly, you can read this article: Set up advanced account settings in QuickBooks Online.

If you have other preferences-related concerns or questions about managing tax details, drop a comment below and tag my name. I'll get back to help you the best that I can, bancc1020. Have a good day.

If you wish to change your Intuit business tax account from Sole Proprietor to LLC S-Corp, you'll need to first confirm whether your LLC meets S-Corp eligibility requirements. Then, you'll file Form 2553 with the IRS to elect S-Corp status..

BTW, S-Corp status will give you some tax benefits...
