Hi there, rob. I'm here to ensure you can change the format of your bill entry template in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Firstly, to change the width of the amount column in a template, we need to drag the line on the Amount column and save it after. Doing this will ensure that the width of your column is correct.

If the issue persists after doing these steps, I suggest performing some troubleshooting steps to determine if this is a browser-caused issue. You can log into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account in another browser by using an incognito browser.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts you can utilize depending on the browser you are using:

  • For Microsoft Edge, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Safari, press Command + Shift + N.
  • For Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P.

If the private browsing session works, you can clear the browser's cache so the program can restart and use updated browsers to maximize your QBO experience.

For a smoother transaction in recording your business expenses, you can visit this article for guidance: Enter and manage bills and bill payments in QuickBooks Online.

Please keep me posted if you have further concerns about changing the format of your bill template. I'm always ready to lend a hand.
