How do I clear invoices from the print forms list, there are 500 invoices. Isn't there a way without going into each invoice and unchecking the print later box?

I send them to my printer, which is Not powered on. Windows gets upset, but QB doesn't even know. Then, from Windows I delete the Print Job. In QB, I simply confirm everything printed fine.

I did that and it worked just great thank you for your quick response. I had over 500 and didnt want to have to change every invoice to remove the print later box.   Happy in Las Vegas......

We used to setup a Print to file printer, like adobe pdf, then send them to the file printer.

I have printed the list of 122 invoices to a PDF, selected 'OK' at the end of the process that all invoices printed properly.

 

The reminder list did NOT clear, same 122 still on the reminder list.

These old invoices are from 2008 to 2015 and were NOT listed prior to my upgrade to Pro 2018. 

Any other way to get the reminder removed?

Thank you for checking in with us. Let me help you with removing the reminder list in QuickBooks Desktop.

 

If you wish to remove the reminder list in QuickBooks Desktop after printing the invoices, you'll need to choose the Printer name Microsoft XPS Document before printing them.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Click File at the top menu bar.
  2. On the drop-down list, click Print Forms and choose Invoices.
  3. Click OK.
  4. In the Printer name, select Microsoft XPS Document Writer on XPSPort and click Print.
  5. Change the File name and hit Save (please note the location for later printing).
  6. Click OK.

I've attached screenshots to guide you through the steps.

 

That should clear your reminder list for invoices.

I found an easy way to do it. 

1. Go to File / Print Forms / Invoices

2. At this point, you have two options.

- For 500 Invoices or fewer: Select ALL

- For 501 Invoices or more: Select NONE, then press CTRL + Left mouse button to quickly select a batch of 500 invoices.

3. Click ok and save what you selected as a PDF. 

4. Once done, make sure to uncheck "Print later" option when creating new invoices.
