Ensuring that all your bank deposits are accurately recorded in QuickBooks Online is our top priority, dwellness.

Follow the steps below to enter the bank deposit:

  1. Click the + New button in the upper left corner of your QBO dashboard.
  2. Under the Other section, select Bank Deposit.
  3. Enter Deposit Details.
  4. Under Select the payments included in this deposit, check off all relevant payments that are part of this deposit. Only payments deposited to Undeposited Funds will appear here; ensure all payments are recorded to this account first.

Now that you’ve entered your deposit you can match it with the deposit in the bank feed.

  1. Navigate to the Banking section on the left-hand side of the menu.
  2. Select the tile for the account where you made the deposit.
  3. Click the Update button to refresh your transactions.
  4. Please scroll down to find your newly entered deposit; ensure that its amount matches what you recorded.
  5. Click on the blue Match link next to it.
