Let's dive into the steps needed to complete your payment setup and streamline your financial transactions, Beery.

The initial step is to sign up and connect your QuickBooks Payments to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To connect your QuickBooks Payments account to QBO:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks as an admin.
  2. Click on Accounts and Settings from the Gear icon.
  3. Go to the Payments section.
  4. In the Existing Account section, tap on Connect or Link Merchant Service.
  5. Choose the QuickBooks Payment account you want to connect to, then Connect.
  6. Review the account info and make sure it's accurate. If everything looks good, select Connect.
  7. When finished, sign out and sign back into QuickBooks.

Once you've completed that, prepare to set up your account so customers can pay their invoices online.

  1. Click on Accounts and Settings from the Gear icon.
  2. Select the Sales tab.
  3. Tap on Edit under Invoice payments.
  4. Select the payment options you want.
  5. Hit Save, then Done.

Alternatively, you can establish the payment options directly when tracking your invoices. You can see this screenshot as your visual reference.
