Hello there, @tfjohannes.

Currently, the option to add a signature line either in invoice or estimate is unavailable.

I understand the importance of having this function so you can add a signature line to an invoice or estimate. As a workaround, you can use the Message on Invoice or Message displayed on Estimate field to include the information you need.

Here's how:

  1. Go to +New, and select either Invoice or Estimate.
  2. In the Message displayed on Invoice or Estimate, enter a Signed by and Signature over printed name.

You may also refer to the screenshots below:

Moreover, I suggest looking for a third-party application that'll allow you to have a signature line in QBO. And if you're using QBO mobile, you can let your customer sign an estimate or invoice.

I've added our Community Help Articles so you can easily navigate, and learn more features about QBO like recording income and expenses.

Feel free to click the Reply button below if you have other questions about signature lines. I'm always here to help. Have a great day.
