Hey there, Jason! I'm pleased to help you get the total amount of your uploaded receipts.

Here are a couple of ways you can achieve this in QuickBooks Online (QBO):

Option 1: Using a Third-Party App

  1. Open QBO.
  2. From the left navigation panel, click on Apps.
  3. Open the Find Apps tab.
  4. Enter a keyword in the search bar or use the Browse Categories dropdown to find a suitable third-party app that can help with totaling your receipts.

Option 2: Running a Report

You can also run the Expenses by Supplier/Vendor Summary report and filter it to show the total of your uploaded receipts.

For a detailed example, I uploaded receipts with memos and filtered the report by Memo/Description to get the total. I've included steps and screenshots for your reference.

Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Go to the Reports section from the left-hand menu.
  2. Find and select the Expenses by Supplier/Vendor Summary report.
  3. Set the correct Report Period and Accounting Method, then click Run Report.
  4. Click on the total amount next to the name of the vendor or supplier.
  5. In the Transaction Report window, ensure the Report Period is set correctly, then click Run Report.
  6. Hit the Customize button.
  7. Select the Filter dropdown and tick the Memo checkbox.
  8. Enter the description of the uploaded receipts in the field and click Run Report.
