I have the template with the information I want, and I like the PDF view, but when I print them, they are not as the view.  What do I need to do?

Hello there, bcfconcjh.

For the best results, it is recommended to print the document on letter-size paper to match the PDF template you desire. Please note that if A4 paper is used, the document may not match the template as expected.

By default, QuickBooks Online has letter size paper set as standard. However, if you've already utilized the letter-size paper and like for example would like to switch to A4, you can easily adjust the settings accordingly.

I would be happy to provide detailed guidance on the procedure for adjusting the settings.

Here's how:

  1. Go to your Invoice.
  2. Click the Print or Preview and select Print or Preview.
  3. On the left side, click Edit your PDF settings.
  4. For the design option, click Edit print settings.
  5. For the content option, click the Pencil icon.

Aside from the Print or Preview option, there's no function to change the default paper size inside QuickBooks Online.

I added this article so that you can learn how to fix QuickBooks Online printing issues on browsers for Windows.
