I've got some troubleshooting solutions to get the pop-up notification removed from your QuickBooks homepage, geoffshive.

The pop-up notifications are designed to suggest and guide you on how to improve your QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience. We understand the ads may affect your navigation, however, the option to turn it off permanently in the program is unavailable. What we can do is click on the X or No, thanks buttons to remove the pop-ups from your QuickBooks homepage.

If you're using Google Chrome, you can follow this article to guide you on how to block the ads: Block certain ads. Another way is to enable the pop-up blocker of your browser. This prevents pop-ups to show up. Let me show you how: 

1. Tap the lock icon to the left of the address bar.
2. Select Site Settings (Google Chrome) or Permission for this site (Mozilla browser).
3. Hover to the Pop-ups and redirects section.
4. Click Block from the drop-down menu.

For the Safari browser:

1. Open your Safari browser.
2. Hit Safari, then Preferences.
3. Choose Websites at the top
4. Click Pop-up Windows on the left sidebar
5. Then, press Block in the pop-up menu for the website.
