Thanks for reaching out to the Community, patty29.

You can remove your Review and Pay button from emailed invoices by turning off all payment options for customers.

Here's how:

  1. Use the Gear icon, then go to Account and settings.
  2. Access your Sales tab.
  3. Find the Invoice payments section, then use it's Pencil (Edit) icon.
  4. Specify which payment methods your customers will use to pay invoices. This is where you'll want to confirm each and every payment option is turned off.
  5. Select Save, then Done.

You're also able to change payment methods on invoices before emailing them. Your steps will different depending on if you're using the new or old invoicing layout. You can review the Set your payment methods directly on the invoice section of our Receive & process payments article for details on how this works in both layouts.

Please don't hesitate to send a reply if there's any additional questions. Have an awesome Thursday!

Thank you, but we do not even have payment options activated as we do not accept online, so i cannot adjust any of those settings.

Let me join the thread and provide further details about the Pay button, Patty.

The Pay button will appear if you're using a custom invoice template. The option to remove it is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I suggest sending a feature request or sentiments directly to our Product Developers. They may consider adding it in future product updates.

To send your input, here's how:

  1. Open your QBO account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
  3. Type in your suggestions and then click on Next.

Moreover, you may also want to check out this article to learn how to personalize and add specific info to your sales forms: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
