Welcome to the Community, GE49.

There are several ways to check and review your last month's post of expenses in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Let me share several measures on how to achieve it.

You can use the Expenses page, where expenditures for the past months are listed. You can customize the expense overview page using the filter option to specify the details.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Expenses, then click on the Filter icon
  2. Modify the date range by setting the dates in the From and To tab. You can also choose the StatusPayee, and Category
  3. Once done, click on Apply

After that, the list on your overview page will set down the expenses for the weeks, months, or years needed.

Furthermore, you can also generate a Transaction by Account Report and customize the report to view your expenses by category. To do this, here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu, then type Transaction Detail by Account in the Find Report by Name tab.
  2. Click the Customize button, then set the Report period.
  3. Go to the Filter section and choose the All Expenses Accounts option in the Distribution Account field.
  4. Click Run report once done.

However, if you meant something else with the monthly post of expenses in QBO, don't hesitate to return to us and ask further questions. I'll be here to address them promptly.
