Question

How do I help an employee gain access to their workforce account when it tells them "notify employer to regain access" when I email them access??

I took away access to try and see if I could then give it back to help fix his access issues. But I never saw a "give back" option.

Let's resend another invitation so your employee gains access to their QuickBooks Workforce account and views their paystubs and W-2s, dcj13.

You'll have to resend an invitation to give your employee back the option to set up their QuickBooks Workforce account. To do this, here's how:

  1. Go to Payroll, then Employees.
  2. Select your employee.
  3. Next to QuickBooks Workforce, select Send reminder.
  4. Check the email address, then select Send reminder. The employee will receive a new invitation.

Once your employee gets the email invitation, ask them to accept it. For the complete guide, they can refer to this article: Set up your QuickBooks Workforce account.

Additionally, you may want to share this article with your employee to guide them on how to view or download their paystubs using QuickBooks Workforce: Paycheck detailstime off, and year-to-date pay in QuickBooks Workforce.

We're only a few clicks away if you need further assistance with your employee's QuickBooks Workforce account. It's always our pleasure to help you out again.
