Question

How do I insert a single line in journal entry in QB online ? a Couple of months ago it worked great. Now this feature seems to have disappeared?

    Thank you for your first post, wiseearth. Let me provide some insights about journal entries.

     

    You can select Add lines to insert more lines when recording journal entries in QuickBooks Online (QBO). To remove the extra fields, tap on Clear lines as well. 

     

    In your case, can you tell me more about inserting a single-line option for journal entries? This way, I'll be able to gather and share with you the right amount of information. You may also attach screenshots for visual reference.

    Adding lines and inserting lines is two different things.

     

    How can a user open an existing Journal and insert lines between existing lines?

    Just click on the + sign in the left column of the Journal Entry to add or insert a line.

    Or click on the trash bin on the far right column of the Journal Entry to delete a line.

    The + sign is gone...I think that is what @wiseearthway-gma was getting at by saying "this feature seems to have disappeared"
