How do I make myself primary admin on my own account? I own it and pay for it, but my accountant took that head spot and need to remove him because he's on his way out.

In QuickBooks Online, you can request to be the primary admin. If you are unable to get the primary admin or contact to transfer the role to you, do not worry. Even if they are unavailable or unable to make the change themselves, you can send a request to our account protection team. Here are the steps you need to follow to get this done:

 

  1. Gather documents for your request. QuickBooks will collect and verify your account data.
  2. To access QuickBooks, sign in to your Intuit Account and complete the form. If you don't have an Intuit Account, create one.
  3. Your request will be under review by the team and waiting for approval.
