Let me help you to make sure to limit the access of your accountant in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Creils.

To begin with, please make sure that we have to remove your accountant and invite again as a regular user.

  1. Log in to your QBO account as a primary admin.
  2. Go to the Gear icon settings, and select Manage users.
  3. Select the Accountants or Accounting firms tab.
  4. Find the accountant you want to remove.
  5. From the Action column, select Delete.
  6. Click Delete.

After that, you can add a new user and invite your accountant as a regular user. That way, you can select the role you want to assign to the user.

If you're using a QBO Advanced subscription, we can create a new custom role and choose the different areas of the role can access. Here's how:

  1. Go to Gear icon settings and select Manage users.
  2. Select the Roles tab, then select Add role.
  3. Enter a Role name and Role description.
  4. Select what the user role can access in QuickBooks, then select Save Role.

You can refer to this article for more details on how to create and manage custom roles for your QuickBooks Online Advanced users: Add and manage custom roles in QuickBooks Online.

If you're using a different QBO subscription, you can choose another role that can't be accessed in your Expense and Bills field by following the steps to this article: Add and manage users in QuickBooks Online.

Also, I've added an article that helps you to set each permission in the company: User types and user permissions in QuickBooks Online.

Don't hesitate to leave a comment below if you have follow-up questions about the accountant access or other QuickBooks-related concerns. I'm always here to assist you. Have a great day.
