How do I note the name or prospect or client with expense receipt?

My understanding is that the IRS requires the names of clients when expensing entertainment or dining.

Let me walk you through the steps to note the client's name within the expense receipts using the memo section. To do so, here's how:

 

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Receipts. 
  2. Choose or upload a receipt where you want to add notes.
  3. Click Review and add the necessary details. 
  4. In the Memo section, enter your client's name.
  5. Click Save and next.
  6. After that, hit Create expense so that the receipt will go to the Review section
