How do I put QB on the task bar in order to start the program?

Since QuickBooks Online is a browser-based program, there's no way to launch it directly from your Windows PC task bar. However, with Google Chrome, you can create a website shortcut that can be launched this way to expedite your log-in process:

Create a Desktop Shortcut for QuickBooks Online

1. Open your browser, sign in to QuickBooks Online, and shrink the window so that the Desktop can be seen behind it.
2. To the left of the URL address bar, you'll see either a QuickBooks icon, a Lock icon 🔒, or an ⓘ.
3. Drag whichever icon you see to your Desktop to create a shortcut.
