It's good to see a new member here in the Community space, @eunice11. I'm here to help you re-categorize your 2023 transactions.

If you're using QuickBooks Simple Start, Essential, or Plus, when categorizing your past transactions, first, you can undo those transactions one at a time. Then, categorize them again correctly.

Here's how:

  1. In the left navigation panel, click Transactions.
  2. Select Bank Transactions, then choose your bank.
  3. Click the Categorized tab.
  4. In the Action column, click Undo.

Alternatively, if you have the QuickBooks Advanced or Accountant plan, you can utilize the Reclassifying feature, This is used for easier categorization of past transactions without the need to undo and redo them individually.

Additionally, you can check this article for future reference. It provides information on reconciling your accounts to ensure they are accounted for properly: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

Furthermore, don't hesitate to return to this platform if you encounter any challenges while categorizing your transaction in the software. We're committed to addressing all your inquiries and ensuring your QuickBooks experience is smooth and efficient.
