Thanks for turning to the Community for assistance, @userkhanlon325. I'll be your guide today on disabling the payment option for invoices.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Settings menu (gear icon).
  2. Click Accounts and Settings.
  3. Move over to the Sales menu and click the Pencil icon for Invoice payments.
  4. In the Payment options section, uncheck the box for Accept Credit Cards.
  5. Select Save and Done to keep the changes.

For more detailed information on this process, check out the QuickBooks Online section outlined in this help article: Add or modify the accepted credit card types in QuickBooks.

Here's a guide that contains the link with answers to common questions about the Payments features: QuickBooks Payments FAQ.

Thank you for posting to the Community, accounts-2upc.

I can share a way how you can add a payment link to your email when invoicing in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If you have QuickBooks Payments, we can connect this to your company file. This way, you can send a payment link in an invoice. You’ll want to check out this article to sign up or connect an existing QuickBooks Payments account.

Once done, you can then set up your account so your customers can pay their invoices online:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and settings.
  2. Navigate to the Sales tab.
  3. Select Edit under the invoice payments. Then, choose the payment options you want for the invoice.
  4. Afterwards, select Save and Done.

Additionally, here’s an article you can check out for more details about accepting electronic customer payments for online invoices: Take and process payments in QuickBooks Online with QuickBooks Payments.

Moreover, you may also want to check out this article for more information about when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments into your bank account.

Let me know if you have more questions about invoices. The Community always has your back. Have a good one!
