Thanks for coming here today, j.allan.

If the estimate was successfully saved, you should be able to see it on your Recent Transactions list when you click the search icon. I've attached a sample screenshot below:

Otherwise, you can use the Audit Log to track your estimates.

To do that:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Audit Log.
  2. Select Filter.
  3. Use the fields on the Filter panel to choose the appropriate UserDate, or Events filter to narrow the results.
  4. Click Apply.

Learn more about using the Audit Log Feature through this article: Use the audit log in QuickBooks Online.

If you can't find it, then you'll need to recreate the estimate and make sure to save it. You can check out this article for the steps: Set up and use estimates.

You might also want to check out this article for more tips on how to customize your templates including estimates in QBO: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Hi, j.allan.

Hope you’re doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about retrieving the estimate you had the other day. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I’d be happy to help you at any time.

Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!

Just had to do some googling around to find this. It's incredible that you need to dig around so much to find an estimate that you work on and save. For a software suite that costs as much as this does how is it not a built in feature with a tab you can easily track and refer to to keep track of estimates? Please get this fixed and added in an update
