I've got some insights on changing the statement end date for QuickBooks Checking, Javaterri.

Currently, the option to adjust the statement end date is unavailable. However, since your statement cycle begins on the day the account was approved, you may consider closing your account and applying for another.

Due to the varying number of days each month, please know that every statement cycle is at most 30 days long. If an account is approved on the 29th, 30th, or 31st, the statement cycle will start on the 1st day of the following month. This ensures consistency in statement cycles and maintains a streamlined process for our valued clients.

Here's an article that can help you use your account effectively: Use your QuickBooks Checking account.

I'm still ready to back you up if you have any other concerns besides changing the statement end date. Feel free to add a reply below. Stay safe!
