How do I set up a new account number in the Chart of Accounts?

I'd be glad to help you set up a new account number for your Chart of Accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To start, ensure that you turn on the account numbers in your Chart of Accounts section in the Account and Settings.

Here's how:

1. Go to Settings, and select Account and Settings.
2. Select the Advanced tab.
3. Select Edit in the Chart of Accounts section.
4. Turn on Enable account numbers, and select Show account numbers.
5. Select Save and then Done.

To set up a new account number, here's how:

1. Go to Settings and select Chart of Accounts.
2. Click New.
3. Select which account, and fill in the details.
4. Click Save.
